EliZyme Polymerases

EliZyme for End-point PCR

All of the enzymes have low sensitivity for common PCR inhibitors. You can easily navigate through our enzymes according to abbreviations:

  • FAST – polymerase speed is up to 1kb per 1s
  • HS – hot-start technology inactivates the enzyme below 65 °C, preventing the formation of primer-dimer complexes and non-specific products
  • MIX – enzyme mix containing buffer, dNTPs and magnesium
  • HIFI 3‘-5‘ exonuclease (proofreading) activity, 50x higher fidelity than Taq DNA polymerase
  • ProofRead 3‘-5‘ exonuclease (proofreading) activity, 100x higher fidelity than Taq DNA polymerase
  • Robust – amplification of difficult DNA templates, GC/AT rich DNA, amplifies up to 35kB, resistant to PCR inhibitors   
  • Red – dye for direct application on gel
  • OneS – kit contains reverse transcriptase and polymerase for reverse transcription and amplification in one step

  • EliZyme™ FAST Taq

    EliZyme™ FAST Taq is a PCR-ready mix designed for routine PCR applications, TA cloning, high-throughput PCR, methylated DNA amplification, crude sample PCR, and standard and fast PCR.

  • EliZyme™ HS FAST

    EliZyme™ HS FAST is suitable for a wide range of applications, including genotyping, TA cloning, colony PCR, high-throughput workflows, low abundance target detection, routine and multiplex PCR, direct PCR on blood and urine, methylated DNA amplification for bi-sulphite sequencing, and "difficult" PCR on GC/AT-rich templates.

    EliZyme™ HS Robust is a specialized polymerase that has been designed to amplify difficult templates with high efficiency and reliability. It incorporates proprietary modifications that increase processivity and advanced buffer chemistry to enable successful amplification of complex templates with high GC or AT content, low abundance, and PCR inhibitors.

    For its 3’-5’ exonuclease (proofreading) activity in PCR was EliZyme HS HIFI polymerase derived from Pfu DNA polymerase. The error rate of EliZyme™ HS HIFI MIX is 100x lower than Taq DNA polymerase.

    EliZyme™ ProofRead HS polymerase is a highly precise proofreading enzyme with innovative hot start technology that enhances the accuracy of PCR. This versatile and robust enzyme is engineered with proprietary mutations to improve DNA binding and increase processivity, resulting in faster extension times (10-30 seconds per kb), higher yields, and the ability to amplify longer and more difficult targets. EliZyme™ ProofRead HS polymerase can amplify eukaryotic genomic templates in excess of 17.5 kb, and longer for simpler DNA templates.
