αPlastic 96 Well RNA/DNA Binding Plate

αPlastic 96-Well DNA/RNA Binding Plate contains silica-based membrane in each well which is secured by a red O-ring. It provides a convenient way to purify DNA (genomic, plasmid, or PCR fragment) and RNA in a large scale format. The silica-based membrane selectively binds DNA/RNA while proteins, shorter nucleic acid (<40bp), and other impurities can be removed in the flow-through. The plate is made of medical grade durable polypropylene and can be used in both Zephyrus® Vacuum Manifold or tabletop centrifuge (with 96-well plate adaptor). All the solutions used in Mini, Midi, and Maxi spin columns (with silica-based membrane) are compatible for 96 well DNA/RNA binding plates.
