EliZyme™ Super HRM MIX

The EliZyme™ Super HRM MIX is an advanced qPCR mix designed specifically to offer maximum specificity to your high-resolution melt (HRM) curve analyses. It is capable of accurately detecting genetic mutations, identifying genotypes based on SNPs, and reliably calculating the percentage of methylation of target regions in HRM analysis.

The mix boasts several features, including super-sensitive product melt curves for distinct allele profiles, compatibility with all HRM-suitable real-time instruments. It is also capable of accurately distinguishing SNP classes I-IV, reliably quantifying the methylation of target sequences, and is suitable for applications such as accurate SNP genotyping, gene scanning, and CpG methylation analysis.

The proprietary smart screen technology used in the development of EliZyme™ Super HRM MIX has resulted in an enzyme buffer with a unique composition that guarantees excellent differentiation capabilities for all classes of SNP. These include Class I (C to T and G to A), Class II (C to A and G to T), Class III (C to G), and Class IV (A to T).

The mix can also be used to quantify CpG methylation in target sequences by combining HRM qPCR with bisulfite sequencing. HRM analysis of the bisulfite-treated versus a corresponding untreated control sample enables the estimation of the target's cytosine methylation percentage, as methylated sequences will have a higher CG content compared to unmethylated targets following bisulfite treatment.
