EliDNA LD Red

The EliDNA LD Red dye is ready to use dye for samples on agarose gel. The most common tracking dyes - Xylene Cyanol FF and Bromophenol Blue - are included to track the DNA molecule during the course of gel electrophoresis. Thus, agarose gel will reveal a purple band and blue band.

The EliDNA LD Red red dye is safe, fluorescent dye which provides a full replacement for the traditionally used ethidium bromide dye. Unlike ethidium bromide, it is not cytotoxic and does not require special biohazard disposal, but at the same time provides a significantly better signal under UV light. Visualization can be performed without any extra staining steps. 

LD-labeled dyes are suitable for loading into the sample.
Mix the DNA samples and/or DNA ladder with EliDNA LD Red loading dye at 5:1 ratio.
