EliDNA PS Red

The EliDNA PS Red red dye provides a full replacement for the traditionally used ethidium bromide dye. Unlike ethidium bromide, it is not cytotoxic and does not require special biohazard disposal, but at the same time provides a significantly better signal under UV light.

The EliDNA PS Red dya is suitable for detection of dsDNA, ssDNA or RNA in agarose or polyacryamide gels.

PS-labeled dyes are suitable for gel staining before or after electrophoresis.
For precast gel staining, EliDNA PS Red should be diluted 10 000 times. In case of post gel staining, dye solution needs to be diluted 5 000 times.
