EliZyme™ Reverse Transcriptase 2.0

The remarkable thermostability of EliZyme™ Reverse Transcriptase 2.0 (RTase 2.0) enables the utilization of reaction temperatures exceeding 55 °C. This feature enhances specificity, yields higher amounts of cDNA, and results in the production of more full-length cDNA products. EliZyme™ Reverse Transcriptase 2.0 excels in efficiently transcribing challenging templates, including transcripts with high GC content and complex structures.

EliZyme™ Reverse Transcriptase 2.0 is specifically designed to facilitate sensitive and efficient cDNA synthesis across a broad spectrum of RNA concentrations. The EliZyme™ Reverse Transcriptase 2.0 is compatible with RNA inputs ranging from 20 pg to 3.5 μg of total RNA or oligo(dT) purified mRNA. Additionally, the RTase2.0 is combined with an advanced EliZyme™ RiboProtect RNase inhibitor that effectively protects RNA from degradation caused by contaminating RNase enzymes.

EliZyme™ Reverse Transcriptase 2.0 is available in a convenient format as stand-alone enzyme, together with the 5× buffer, grants users the flexibility to define their own priming strategy. This versatile system delivers outstanding performance when used with gene-specific primers, oligo(dT) primers, and random hexamers.
