EliZyme™ Reverse Transcriptase

EliZyme™ Reverse Transcriptase is a thermostable and extremely active modified M-MLV reverse transcriptase and is a reliable and heat-resistant enzyme designed to improve the speed and efficiency of cDNA synthesis while ensuring accurate transcript representation.

Some of the key features of EliZyme™ Reverse Transcriptase include its thermostable nature, which allows for transcription at temperatures between 45 °C and 55 °C, as well as the presence of an advanced RNase inhibitor that prevents RNA degradation by contaminating RNase. Additionally, this product can accurately transcribe GC-rich RNA regions with high secondary structure. The enzyme is provided with a 5X buffer that contains Mg, dNTPs, stabilizers, and enhancers, which have been optimized to generate high cDNA yield from as little as 4pg of RNA.

EliZyme™ Reverse Transcriptase can be used with random hexamer, oligo-dT, and gene-specific primers for cDNA synthesis, which is useful for a variety of downstream applications, such as PCR analysis, cloning, library preparation, and Next Generation Sequencing. It is efficient in synthesizing cDNA from low-copy number transcripts, viral RNA targets, and miRNA targets, and can be used with total RNA or poly(A)+ RNA. EliZyme™ Reverse Transcriptase does not include oligos, providing users with the flexibility to define their own priming strategy based on their specific analytical needs.
