EliZyme™ HS FAST

EliZyme™ HS FAST is a powerful DNA polymerase that uses advanced hot start technology for improved sensitivity and specificity in PCR applications. The hot-start feature prevents non-specific amplification and primer-dimer formation by inactivating the enzyme below 65 °C, allowing for specific amplification of low copy number target sequences. The antibody-mediated hot start technology provides superior sensitivity and specificity compared to other methods.

EliZyme™ HS FAST is suitable for a wide range of applications, including genotyping, TA cloning, colony PCR, high-throughput workflows, low abundance target detection, routine and multiplex PCR, direct PCR on blood and urine, methylated DNA amplification for bi-sulphite sequencing, and "difficult" PCR on GC/AT-rich templates. The enzyme system delivers increased PCR success rates with amplicons up to 6kb and ultra-low background DNA.

EliZyme™ HS FAST uses advanced buffer chemistry, including Mg and dNTPs, to enhance PCR speed, yield, and specificity. The enzyme is efficient and specific in amplifying GC and AT-rich templates, and has increased inhibitor tolerance. The polymerase is produced using an enhanced 12-step purification strategy that removes host DNA physically, chemically, and enzymatically.

For added convenience, EliZyme™ HS FAST is available as a 2X ready mix that can be easily set up, and EliZyme™ HS FAST MIX Red contains a red dye suitable for direct loading and tracking during agarose gel electrophoresis. All versions of the enzyme perform well across the recommended applications.
